Classic Tragedy in Modern Dallas
The body of Ann Jones, age thirteen, was found by a priest early Wednesday morning by Father Irwin of the All Saints Catholic Church. She was found on a bench outside of the All Saints Catholic Church on Meadowcreek Drive. Around 5 A.M. Father Irwin was making his around in the church's cemetery when he found Jones' body. She was identified by her boyfriend, Dimitri Mirovitch, a few hours later.
"Her parents are very upset," said Dr. Bowler, the local coroner "she had never shown depression of any sort. Yet the way in which it was committed is reminiscent of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet." The coroner explained the girl had slit her own wrists and passed out, then died. The knife, however, could not be found anywhere. There were no blood trails around her so it is suspected that someone slashed her wrists and fled after she died. Mirovitch has been taken into custody with a mutual friend, Marjorie LaVelle. Details are sketchy as of 10 A.M., but rumor has it one of the two have confessed.
Blood samples have been taken from Jones and are being tested for drug or alcohol use. Time of death is believed to be around 11 P.M., anyone with information should notify the police, a reward is being offered by Jones' parents.
