I shook my head, as if that would clear it. I knew though, that I had been dazed for some time, not just minutes as I felt it was. I was glad that whomever I had met on the street had left for sometime before this happened. I am home, though I do not remember getting here. Doubtless, this unpleasent event will happen again.

I fell backwards in my mind then, waiting for the rush of anger and rage to flow over me and be done, like a parent awaits the end of a child's tantrum. Oh, but how I did hate these moments.
