Personality: Spencer is arrogant, emotionally unstable, lecherous, and bent on creating the perfect art. He can sit in one place for days trying to seek his inspiration, and is sometimes prone to fits of anger and passion. He loves to flirt with women in the hopes of bedding them, even undead women who likely could care less. Immerses himself in decadence and glamour, but is always drawn away from it by his quest for perfection. He is not interested in power or politics, and is generally not found anywhere but his haven, the Elysium, or the Toreador parties. He is prone to strange and unique clothing, behavior, and hairstyles. Under this surface of complexity, however, lies the heart of a flake.

History: Spencer was born into the theatre in the year 1707, being the son of a traveling thespian in a traveling company of Shakespearean actors. He absorbed the life enthusiastically, his chores being to collect donations and help set up the props. As he grew, they used him in the roles of females, then males, proving himself over and over again as the picture perfect professional. Soon, he began to write his own plays and accompanying music, and his growing fame and wealth captured the attention of two other playwrights, both of which would change his life forever. A jealous Toreador had pursued Spencer's troupe throughout England and vowed revenge for outdoing him, who was in turn pursued by that Kindred's sire in retribution for breaching the traditions. Spencer was found and drained to near death, left to die outside the troupe's camp. As he lay there, he heard the blood curdling scream that sounded like his erstwhile attacker. Not long after, an entrancing young woman appeared over him, apologizing profusely as she embraced him.

Spencer considered his new form a gift and began to learn of the Masquerade. He floated through time, under a new alias every 20 years, trying each new and different type of art as it piqued his curiosity. Sculpting, weaving, painting, singing, acting, dancing, writing, and even performance art in recent times have all charmed his fancy. He lives, however, in the delusion that he is still human, though he understands very little of what that means anymore. His most recent stint in interior decorating earned him the attention of several Kindred, whom he has decorated the homes and offices of. He has recently taken an interest in computer graphics, web design, piercings, hair dyes, and tattooing, though he has not yet fully pursued this interest.

A short list of the movements Spencer has influenced.:

  • Akira Korazawa's film style

  • The beginning of the jazz movement

  • Salvador Dali's surrealism painting

  • 70's & 80's punk look

All the mentioned artists valued his opinions but eventually got sick of the guy.
