Nature: Penitent - milliecat@msn.com

Whimper, whimper, scream
Shriek awake this dream.
My pillows are the best
For greeting final rest.
Let me wake to death -
No painful, sobbing breath.
Let me arise to falling.
Sweet Thanatos is calling.
My addled brain doth rage
For freedom from life's cage.
It slashes, gashes, shreds
And taunts me with my dreads.
It's howling never ends
That I must make amends
For all the pain I've wrought,
For misery I've brought
In wanting only peace -
My only need - release.
So in dying I can win
Freedom from my sin
No more suffering for anyone
When the loathsome deed is done.

Scream, Shriekers, sing
And let the madness bring
Courage for my deed
Though my brain doth bleed
With warring, sickly hope
That maybe I can cope
Until another day
And keep this selfish song at bay.

Re Nature: Penitent - webmaster@role-play.net

What a wondrous world
We see/not see
Spinning in our way/not way
Finding where we will/not will
And giving what we want/not want

Something's wrong/not wrong.

Who?
