From: Anastasia
Anastasia arose refreshed as she always did. After washing and dressing, she laid out components in preparation for her evening ritual. Sitting in the middle of the circle, she would clear her mind and concentrate on the magic for one hour. She did not need to perform it every night, but had found it to bring her much focus and so she rarely exited her cell without it done. This night however, it did have meaning, as she would be attending Elysium. A strong reverence nigh unto instinct kept the peace there among kindred, but she kept in mind the talk of a hunter in the city. How odd it was that the elders seem unconcerned, unless this hunter was their tool. It was certainly not unheard of to employ such tactics to get rid of unwanted foes or annoyances. Should she unearth any information about this hunter, she would need to tread carefully around this matter so as not to inadvertently make enemies.
Ritual done, she exits into the Chantry proper. She gives a quick bow to Riskard in passing. Anastasia sees him often, and it is a requirement of her station to meet with him once per week to discuss her studies and progress. When she informed him of her studies into mages, he had indicated a desire to someday delve into that area as well. It appeased her mind that he thought it a worthy use of her time. She wondered if he would soon be Primogen.
Carefully exiting the walls of the plain looking building, Anastasia gets into her car and stats to drive towards the Church. It still felt odd to be driving, for she did not do it much in Europe, even though she could. The traffic laws were of course different, and it was a new city. Add to that the drivers in this city were absolutely fearless, and perhaps even psychotic.
This night, however, found her safely to the Elysium. She parked her car and headed inside the neutral ground of the kindred.
