From: Anastasia
Anastasia was told of the destruction of her Primogen’s haven, and little else. Either one was to draw one’s own conclusions as to his welfare, or perhaps the answer was indeed as obvious as it seemed. Even in her short unlife, she had heard or witnessed several occasions in which a kindred disappeared to return later. However, it was never on an occasion of their haven burning down to the foundation. The apprentice pondered.
She had seen him rarely. On the last occasion he seemed quite spirited, but for all she knew that was the norm for him. The nature of his demise seemed too far-fetched to be an accident, but what sort of a blunt planner would go so far as to brick his door shut?
Anastasia’s mind wrapped around the only individual she had met that had expressed open dislike for Joseph Tudor. Vasilli practically had daggers in his eyes at the sight of the Tremere Primogen. He did not or could not hide his hatred, even in Elysium. That in itself was almost a reason to remove him from suspicion entirely. Or, was that part of the plan? To set oneself up as the obvious suspect in order to make the accusation seem ludicrous could indeed be a successful ploy. Was the Malkavian Primogen so devious? If so, she would certainly choose to have him as an ally. Making enemies never brought anyone back from final death that she was aware of. She would proceed with her studies to aid Mr. Gorovich, not quite sure whether his guilt or innocence would earn more respect from her. As long as he could keep from being held responsible, his alliance was worth almost any amount of time spent cultivating it.
