Mason was very impressed with the security arrangements her employer had arranged. She had never seen the like, and she'd seen some elaborate security arrangements. But they'd never been designed to detect invisible people.
Rachel's ability to become completely unseen fascinated Mason. She wondered how it could work, adding that to her list of queries for her investigation into vampire nature. She was supposed to make a complete report for her employer. She thought it would take a long time to answer all these questions she had discovered; especially since the list of questions was growing far faster than they were being answered.
She hoped sincerely that her knowledge of the details of Miss Semingsworth's security arrangements wouldn't be a hole in them - she felt sure that there were aspects that were unknown to her, that would prevent such an eventuality.
Mason returned to her work but her mind kept wandering back to the strangeness of the invisible Rachel. Did it have anything in common with the strange case of the man who looked different on camera than he had in person? She put that question on her list too, and sighed softly as she set her mind back to her task at hand.
