From: Aela Villette & Mason Weston
The delicate ringing of the cordless phone pressed up against her ear amongst soft curls of auburn played a echoing tune as Aela waited for Mason to answer the call. Her eyes of flaming emerald watched Bryon as he sat on the couch, toying with her glass of delicious crimson wine, keeping himself occupied with its vision as they waited for an answer. Soon after a few rings the phone pierces her ear with a sweet voice, one that could only be the lovely Miss Mason Weston.
"Hello?" Mason spoke faintly, and Aela smiled with a nod to Bryon that she had gotten a reply to her call.
"Hello, is this Mason?"
"Aela?", Mason somehow picked up the tune in Aela's voice and pin-pointed it's origin instantly. "Thanks for calling me back."
"Ohh hello.. You sound so much different on the phone.", It was the honest truth, Mason's voice had such beauty to it on the end of the receiver. "It was my pleasure.. I hope you are well tonight..."
"Oh." Mason paused a moment to understand Aela's comment, but soon shrugged it off with more idle chatter. "I'm fine, thank you. The first poetry session went very well... I hope you can make it to this upcoming one."
"Ahh... that is wonderful to hear Mason. And I wanted to talk to you about the next one... I have a few idea's that I would love to work out with you.. if you are up for it?"
Mason paused once more as she layed her dinner down on the table before her and tilted her head close to the phone, giving Aela her full attention. "I've been waiting for your call. No time like the present."
Aela blinked for a moment and then gasped, "Ohh I didn't mean to keep you waiting... I had... a guest to entertain recently.." A small blush flushed over her cheeks and she winked to Bryon who heard her comment and had to chuckle. "But yes.. about the next reading... I wanted to know if perhaps we could up the stakes per`se and maybe get a little party together.. sort of like a big poetry bash, with food, drinks, and perhaps a larger group?"
"Food and drinks would be lovely, if you know someone who would care to donate them to a good cause." Mason grabbed a pen that rested at the table to her right and a small pad, starting to write down some of this idea Aela talked about, but then stopped to ask, "What do you mean by a larger group?"
Well you see Mason...", Aela stood up from her spot on the table and moved in a pace like walk as she went over the small details to her idea. "I'm slightly new to this town, and I've recently just met a clan mate of mine, who I hope you can meet some time. Also Miss Semingworth gave me a number to be able to reach another and I am thinking, perhaps instead of meeting all these different people all different places and times, We could host a poetry, art, social get-together and this way we, as in You and I, could meet and mingle with some other people."
Mason thought over this for a moment with a small smile and then wrote a few notes before replying. "That would be wonderful. I'd love to meet your friends Aela."
Aela sighed in relief which soon turned into an excited gasp as she threw a smile at Bryon to give him an idea of how things were coming along. "Excellent Mason, thank you so much. I was hoping we could make this into something fun and thrilling. But perhaps we should try it in two weeks.. so I can plan for the refreshments and get the word around?"
Mason giggled softly to Aela's expression over the phone and finished her notes. "Sounds good, but lets not make it too exciting. If you have extra time we can do one before that with just you."
"Ohhh lovely! When is the next reading to be?"
"This Thursday we have the auditorium reserved, so that would be a good time."
"Well...." Aela glanced at the calender over on the far wall for a moment then smiled. "I could make it then.. before the planned party... sound good to you? Oh.. and I need to know where exactly this place is."
"Yes, it does. And the location is at the auditorium near the homeless shelter."
"Thank you Mason, very much. Ok.. I shall see you then." Aela smiled broadly and moved towards the couch to sit next to Bryon.
"Good bye, Aela." Mason breathes a soft sigh of relief as she hangs up .. yet another vampire seemingly ok.
Aela pushed a button on the phone and dropped it down onto the coffee table before her and Bryon smiling brightly. Turning to Bryon she laces her arms around his neck and kisses him softly through whispers.
"Everything is going great, now all I need to do is get ahold of a few people, organize the refreshments and art and find a way to publicize this. Not too much work I'd gather." She chuckled softly.
"This sounds brilliant, I never expected you to play poseur." Bryon chuckled lightly along with her and gave Aela a soft hug.
"Ohhh I'm not going to be playing anything, I'll be watching all this fall into place, and hopefully boost my knowledge of who's what and why."
"Aahh, always thinking ahead are we?" Bryon smirked and gave her a small smile.
"When thinking on anything, one must always work out the little kinks."
