From: Anastasia
Anastasia selects another compendium from the ancient history area of the chantry library. Even to her critical eye the organization of the tomes here is the most precise she has ever seen, perhaps even as systematized as the library in Vienna itself. Such order leaves the mind free of clutter and able to focus on the task at hand – the search for the fate of the Malkavian Primogen’s sister abducted 1511 years ago in the year 488. She would take Mr. Gorovich’s words as accurate: There were so few clues that not even one could be discarded. He had also mentioned the Order of Hermes. Anastasia found herself perplexed at the date and at her deficiencies in history, though her aptitude with languages was helping to no end. She attempted to find materials on her own Clan at that time and to work from there on the assumption that her clan may have had some dealings with the mages of that era. Strangely, she found no references to Clan Tremere dated back that far. She did find tidbits on a House Tremere, part of the Order of Hermes, but even this tenuous connection stopped in 867. This was far short of the 488 mark. Continuing her research she discovered a link to another cabal with some very striking parallels to the chivalrous Malkavian Primogen’s assertions - The Goetics, a sect in the Order of Hermes. Anastasia smiled.
