The guards obey those in the command structure, other nobles should be listened
too and aided, but not allowed to boss guardsmen around unless the guard
decides that it will not hinder him in his work.
The Tashal City Guard is not associated with the Inquisition and the Fighting Order of the Church of Larani, so guards shouldnt feel compelled to obey Inquisitors or other eventual Officers of the Fighting Order of Larani. This applies to all other fighting orders or misc. soldiers in the realm as well. If they are noble, give them the respect they are due but do not allow them to hinder you in your duties.
These individuals should be aware of the following things. When they join the guard they will have a bunk, food provided, a good pay, armor and weapons, responsibility and a uniform to be proud of. It does come with limitations though. Guardsmen may not leave the city without permission from a Sgt or above and must give an adequate excuse for abandoning their duty for any period of time.
Reporting constantly and with detail will garner promotion. The Guard is not looking for lay-abouts, so keep sharp on your patrols.
